How to get your flickr widgets?

Ok, display your photo on your sidebar is easy. First, click the tab “Sidebar Widgets” on top menu.

Menu
Drag and drop the Flickr Photo into sidebar box.

Configure your settings with ID:
If you want to show your own flickr photo, enter your flickr ID(Not Screen Name), you may get your ID here idgettr.com and enter your photo tags(Optional).

Configure your setting without ID:
Enter your favourite tags if show photo with tags only. Leave the USER ID blank.

Can I get random images from my stream?
Nope, it’s a limitation of using the RSS feed (it only displays the last 10 photos)

When I put multiple tags in, it only shows one of them
No, the RSS feed shows both, but it’s a combination rather than intersection. So, you’ll get the most recent photos from both tags, not the set of photos that contain both tags

Bug: Site unavailable

This plugin allows you to make your blog temporarily unavailable to your users. It is still accessible by the administrators.

We found blogger could not access the administrative section or login after this plugin actived.

We has found the bug and solved it! Now you can acess the your admin panel even while this plugin is activated. Cheer!

Adsense? Sorry!

We are sorry Blogates currently don’t allow Google Adsense or other JS ad code on the site, though we probably will in the future. However right now it is keeping sploggers (spam bloggers) from exploiting Blogates.com and only a few legit users have asked for it.

We have a very low tolerance for blogs created purely for search engine optimization or commercial purposes, machine-generated blogs, and will continue to nuke them, so if that’s what you’re interested in Blogates is not for you.

Let user subscribe your blog!

If allowing people to subscribe to your blog is good thing for you. Blogates installed WP Bookmarking Widgets for your blog to make sure your reader can subscribe your blog. Login your account and click the tab Sidebar Widgets drag and drop the Bookmark Widgets into your side bar. Thta’s all…

Flickr widgets with blogates

This time it’s a widget to display Flickr photos.
Blogates added a Flickr widget that will grab your Flickr account and display the photos on your blog! This is simple widgets from Patrick.

Check your Sidebar Widgets screen and following the link to “Sidebar Widgets”. Drag and drop the Flickr widget into your sidebar and configure it there. You could display photo from your flickr account or other, just leave it blank in User ID. See sidebar on this blog.

Custom Your Header Image

Choose your header image to match your blog! We are modified default theme to let you can easy change your blog image. For example, you may choose Music Style if your blog related music
Click the tab Site Theme and click Header Image to select Image Style.

Accept donation from your blog.

Patrick has realeased his wordpress paypal donate widgets. It’s nice widgets and easy.

Blogates also installed the widget to the blogger to accept donation from user. Login your account click the tab Sidebar Widgets Drag and drop the Paypal Donate into your side bar. Configure the your widget with your paypal email address, that’s all!

In your paypal widget, you could setting your emaill address, minimum amount and currency. After donor finish the donation, Paypal will automatically return to your blog’s site.
